Role: Welsh Speaking Primary School Teacher (PPA Cover)
Location: Cardiff - CF11
⏰ Hours: Full-time (08:30 – 15:30)
Pay: Paid to scale (weekly)
Start Date: April
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a Welsh-medium primary school in the CF11 area of Cardiff to appoint a proactive, dedicated, and passionate PPA Teacher. This role will involve covering classes across all year groups, so flexibility and adaptability are key. The ability to plan and deliver lessons fluently in Welsh is essential. The school welcomes applications from both Newly Qualified Teachers and Fully Qualified Teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across all year groups in Welsh
Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different age groups
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity in learning
Engage in professional development opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary teaching qualification
️ Fluency in Welsh and proficiency in English
Experience teaching in a primary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
❤️ Passion for teaching and promoting the Welsh language and culture

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
