We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to work in a Primary School in the centre of Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to make a real impact on the education of Year 6 pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons to Year 6 students.
- Planning and implementing the National Welsh Curriculum, ensuring that all students progress and reach their potential.
- Assessing and tracking student progress, providing timely feedback to parents and carers.
- Supporting the development of students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Creating a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Year 6 (or a keen interest in working with KS2).
- A passion for education, with a strong commitment to student development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students to achieve their best.
