Primary School Teacher - Cardiff

Position: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Cardiff
Contract Type: Full-time  
Pay (per day): £166.32
Start Date: March 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to work in a Primary School in the centre of Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to make a real impact on the education of Year 6 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons to Year 6 students.
  • Planning and implementing the National Welsh Curriculum, ensuring that all students progress and reach their potential.
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing timely feedback to parents and carers.
  • Supporting the development of students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Creating a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Year 6 (or a keen interest in working with KS2).
  • A passion for education, with a strong commitment to student development.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students to achieve their best.
