Role Overview:
As a supply teacher working with our agency, you will have the chance to work across a variety of primary schools in Dorset, covering EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classes. You will be expected to deliver engaging and effective lessons, follow the school's lesson plans, and maintain a positive classroom environment. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in different schools and settings while having the flexibility to choose the assignments that work best for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons and follow lesson plans provided by the school
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure students are on task
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching teams
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their individual learning needs
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Build professional relationships with school staff, students, and parents
  • Be reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet the needs of different schools

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with primary-aged children in EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to adapt to different school environments
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively
  • Flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent classroom management skills
