Exciting Opportunity: Strong KS2 Teacher in Totton!
Are you a passionate, dedicated, and creative teacher with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum? We are looking for a KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school in Totton. About the Role: As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to children in Years 3 to 6. You will support students' academic, social, and emotional development, providing tailored learning experiences that challenge and inspire them. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team of teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that engage and challenge students in line with the national curriculum.

Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, including those with additional needs.

Foster a love of learning and promote curiosity, critical thinking, and independence in students.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and setting achievable goals.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel valued, confident, and motivated to learn.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

A creative and dynamic approach to teaching, with the ability to make learning exciting and relevant.
-
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.

A passion for making a difference in children’s lives and helping them reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
