Job description

Teaching Personnel is excited to offer opportunities for a dedicated primary teachers in Primary Schools across Whiltshire and Dorset on short and long-term basis. The roles available are perfect for passionate educators eager to make a positive impact on pupils' educational journey and eager to take a step back from full-time teaching.

One huge positive of adhoc supply teaching is that no planning is involved, allowing you to reclaim precious time! Simply teach the pre-planned lessons left by the class teacher, mark the books at the end of the day and you're free to go!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to primary pupils in line with the curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the school staff and parents to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Previous experience teaching primary-aged students, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong classroom management skills and enthusiasm for teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
