Primary Supply Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a large trust of Primary Schools in Cambridgeshire, ranging from 1 form to 3 form entry 3 form entry, who have recently reached out to us requiring additional Teaching Staff to provide effective and quality cover across their schools on a regular and flexible basis.
This role is ideal for teachers who are perhaps looking to take a step back from the full-scale responsibilities of teaching, but still want the enjoyment of working in education and supporting primary aged pupils to achieve their goals.
We have increased our rates of pay for our dedicated supply Teachers! By joining Teaching Personnel, you can expect fair daily rates of pay for daily supply bookings, up to £173.49 per day. Our new rates are listed below based on levels of experience:
M1 = £153.49
M2 = £158.49
M3/M4 = £163.49
M5/M6 = £168.49
UPS = £173.49
Long term roles and mainscale positions are subject to negotiation.
The following criteria is desirable for potential candidates:
- Primary QTS must be held
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience
- Own method of transport is essential
- Experience teaching various year groups and mixed ability classes
If successful, all teachers will be supported by a qualified Teaching Assistant who will provide overall class support, as well as work within small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils. Information on the schools safeguarding policy and health and safety can be provided prior to your arrival.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
