Primary School Teacher (LKS2) – One-Year Contract
Location: Burnley
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Fixed-term (1 year)
Pay: In line with AWR (Agency Workers Regulations)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Burnley from September 2025 for a one-year contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and vibrant school community. The role may also include a subject lead responsibility, depending on experience and interest.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (LKS2 preferred)

  • High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A team player with excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to contribute to the wider school community

  • Readiness to take on a subject leadership role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
