Job Title: High Needs SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate High Needs SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team in one of our partner schools

Our school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, with a particular focus on those with special educational needs (SEN).

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of students who require additional support.

As a High Needs SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored support to students with high needs SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students. Help manage classroom behaviour and support students in developing social and communication skills.

Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of SEN provision at the school. Work one-on-one or in small groups with high needs SEN students.

Adapt teaching materials and methods to meet individual needs.

Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with high needs. Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.

Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN.

Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
