Teach, Inspire, Empower | Become a Tutor on the South Coast with TP Tutors

Are you an educator with a passion for making a difference—whether it’s helping a student grasp a tricky concept or supporting a child with additional needs through 1:1 tuition?

At TP Tutors, we’re expanding our team of passionate educators along the South Coast of England, and we’re looking for versatile tutors who are confident in Maths, English, or general core subjects, and open to supporting SEN/SEND learners where needed.

Whether you’re in Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, or anywhere in between—we want to hear from you!

Position: General Tutor (with SEN/SEND 1:1 Opportunities)

Location: South Coast – Online & In-Person Options Available
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time – You choose what suits your schedule

About TP Tutors

At TP Tutors, we believe every child deserves the right support to succeed—and that starts with great teaching. We provide targeted tuition across the South Coast, working with students who need help catching up in core subjects or benefit from 1:1 support due to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Whether you’re delivering online sessions or working in person with learners in your local area, you’ll be helping to create real, lasting change.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide tailored tuition in Maths, English, or core curriculum subjects

  • Support learners 1:1 or in small groups, including those with additional needs

  • Create engaging, accessible lessons based on each child’s pace and goals

  • Foster a calm, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Track progress and collaborate with families, schools, and the wider TP Tutors team

‍ We’re Looking For:

  • Educators with experience in primary or secondary teaching/tutoring

  • Someone open to working with SEND learners (experience is a bonus, but training is available)

  • Confident communicators with a positive, adaptable approach

  • Qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS), experienced tutors, or professionals with relevant backgrounds in education or learning support

  • Individuals based along the South Coast who can travel for in-person sessions, or teach online

Why Join TP Tutors?

  • Flexible hours to suit your lifestyle

  • Competitive pay rates that reflect your skills and experience

  • Training and ongoing CPD, including SEND-focused strategies

  • The chance to make a real impact in your local community

  • A welcoming, supportive team that values what you bring to the table

If you’re ready to inspire learners and support their success—both in and out of the classroom—we’d love to have you on board.
