PPA Teacher – Primary School in Preston
Position: PPA Teacher
Location: Preston
Year Groups: EYFS, Reception, and Year 1
Days: 2 Days per Week
Start Date: February 2025
Duration: July 2025
Rate of Pay: £120 - £150 per day (based on experience)
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Preston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to provide exceptional teaching across EYFS, Reception, and Year 1. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an early career teacher looking for part-time work in a supportive environment.
About the Role:
- Cover PPA time across EYFS, Reception, and Year 1.
- Deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupils’ progress.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS.
- Experience working within EYFS and Key Stage 1 is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
