About the Role:

The Headteacher and Governing Body of a highly regarded primary school in Liverpool City Centre are seeking a skilled and proactive Primary Teacher to oversee Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) across five classes, while also delivering targeted intervention support.

The successful candidate will work part-time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, supporting pupils from Year 1 to Year 5. Additionally, one half-day per week will be dedicated to providing focused maths support for a small group of Year 5 pupils, aimed at closing learning gaps.

This vacancy has arisen due to the current postholder relocating, offering a possible temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate. It is ideal for an experienced teacher seeking a part-time role within a supportive school community.

While the school upholds a GOOD standard of behaviour, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to upholding the school’s behaviour policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
