PPA Teacher (3 Days per Week) – Reading

Location: Reading
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
Contract Type: Part-Time (3 days per week)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Our client, a welcoming and well-established primary school in Reading, is seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join their team for 3 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys working across year groups and subjects, and who thrives on variety and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 to cover teachers' PPA time

  • Work closely with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning

  • Follow school policies, planning frameworks, and behaviour expectations

  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and has recent UK primary teaching experience

  • Is flexible, proactive, and confident teaching across multiple year groups

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and a positive, can-do attitude

  • Is committed to raising standards and supporting pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
