Supporting Secondary & SEN Schools
Daily Rate – Competitive (Based on Experience)

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to work across secondary and SEN schools in the Alford area. This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate educator to promote physical wellbeing and support everyday learning in a variety of inclusive school settings.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging PE lessons to students across KS3 and KS4

• Adapt activities to meet a range of physical and educational needs, including SEN

• Support schools with general classroom cover when required

• Promote teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles through sport

• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during all activities

• Collaborate with school staff and contribute to wider school life

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for physical education

• Experience working in secondary and/or SEN settings is desirable

• A flexible and proactive attitude to teaching and supporting learning

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• A passion for helping all students succeed, both in and out of the classroom

• All suitable candidates will be required to undergo a full vetting process

• You must be able to provide relevant documentation, including proof of right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (on the update service or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
