Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a primary school located in the Tonge Moor area of Bolton. The role is to start in September 2021 and will be a 12-month contract, due to the school using extra funding provided by the government to focus on improvement in this area.

Previous experience working with primary aged children is advantageous, as the successful candidate will be expected to deliver smaller group sessions, as well as general classroom support. These focus sessions of around 4-5 pupils will be utilised to provide additional support for subjects specifics, including Phonics. Therefore, knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and experience of using phonics schemes such a ‘Read Write Inc’ is essential to this role, as the school use this particular scheme. This school was converted to an academy in 2018 and is a medium sized 2-from entry school.
The school has on-site parking and is easily accessible to those using public transport as it is situated just outside of Bolton Town Centre, which bus routes from Bolton interchange and most of Bolton run through.
