Role Overview: As a Phonics Support Intervention Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting literacy development among students who may require additional support in phonics. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students build strong foundational reading and writing skills, ensuring they are equipped for success in their academic pursuits.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted phonics intervention sessions to small groups of students.
- Assess students' phonics abilities and identify areas of improvement.
- Develop customized intervention plans based on individual student needs.
- Utilize a variety of engaging teaching methods to enhance phonics understanding.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with curriculum goals.
