The Role:
- Assist and deliver engaging lessons alongside the class teacher.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work across multiple age groups and schools for varied experience.
- Support students with different learning needs, including SEND.
- Maintain strong classroom management and stay updated with educational best practices.
Essential Requirements:
- A Child-Only DBS Certificate registered on the Update System.
- EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it.
Job Details:
- Job Title: Teaching Assistant / NQT / HLTA (Progressing to Teacher after QTS)
- Location: Newport/Torfaen
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Full-Time)
- Start Date: ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
