The Role:

  • Assist and deliver engaging lessons alongside the class teacher.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work across multiple age groups and schools for varied experience.
  • Support students with different learning needs, including SEND.
  • Maintain strong classroom management and stay updated with educational best practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • A Child-Only DBS Certificate registered on the Update System.
  • EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it.

Job Details:

  • Job Title: Teaching Assistant / NQT / HLTA (Progressing to Teacher after QTS)
  • Location: Newport/Torfaen
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Full-Time)
  • Start Date: ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
