Teaching Personnel is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming school in Peterlee after the half-term break. This role will run until the May half-term and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Role Overview:

• Delivering whole-class cover lessons as required
• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis when not covering lessons
• Assisting teachers in lesson planning and classroom management
• Providing targeted intervention to support student progress

Requirements:

✅ HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
✅ Confidence in delivering lessons across different subjects
✅ Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
✅ Willingness to support pupils on a 1:1 basis when needed
✅ A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
