PE Teacher – Taunton

Teaching Personnel is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher to join our network of schools in the Taunton area. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and promote a love for physical activity and well-being.

Role Overview:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).

  • Encourage participation in a range of sports and physical activities.

  • Support students in developing teamwork, resilience, and a healthy lifestyle.

  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and school competitions.

  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level.

  • Strong knowledge of various sports and fitness training techniques.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A passion for promoting physical health and well-being among students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
