Position: PE Teacher
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (M1 to UPS3)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: April 2024
Our client Secondary school is located within Sunderland with access from surrounding areas via the A1231, A183, A690, A1018 or the A19. For candidates who do not drive, there are many public transport links from the surrounding areas of The North East.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge within both the GCSE and BTEC curriculum.
- Great classroom management skills.
- Have a child only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for it. (We can help you apply during registration).
- Provide 2 professional references from recent employment.
Job Brief
- Teaching KS3 and KS4 Physical Education, to a range of abilities.
- Plan, deliver and mark PE lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes physical fitness and sportsmanship.
- Array of extracurricular activities to get involved with.
