We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time PE Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving school in Preston. The successful candidate will be able to evidence a track record of achieving good or outstanding results, as well as being able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and the ability to engage, motivate and inspire students of all abilities. The right candidate should have a commitment to raising achievement, raising aspirations and going the extra mile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
• Foster a positive and active learning environment.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including sports clubs and school competitions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Passion for PE and promoting physical activity among young people
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
• Previous experience in teaching PE is desirable but not essential
