A highly reputable and well-established Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Teacher of PE to join its thriving secondary school in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed professional to inspire students and contribute to a successful and supportive department.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop their skills and passion for physical education.
- Contribute to a broad and inclusive extracurricular sports programme.
- Assess and track student progress, providing support to maximise achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and whole-school initiatives.
- Uphold high expectations of behaviour and engagement in lessons.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
- Have a degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching PE.
- Have the ability to engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Show a willingness to contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
