The Role:
As a PE/Dance Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering students’ physical health, teamwork skills, and creative self-expression. You will:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons, promoting teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong love of physical activity.
- Teach dynamic dance lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and cultural appreciation.
- Prepare students for assessments in PE and Dance at KS3 and KS4, ensuring strong progress and results.
- Organise and lead extracurricular clubs in sports and dance, supporting students in developing their interests and talents.
- Collaborate with the department on events, including sports days, performances, and showcases that celebrate physical and artistic achievement.
- Adapt lessons to cater to students of varying abilities, ensuring every child can participate and succeed.
