Pastoral Lead – Catholic School (Wigan, WN6)
Location: A Good Catholic School in Wigan (WN6)
Start Date: ASAP or September 2024

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Lead to join a highly regarded Catholic school in Wigan (WN6). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting students' personal development, behaviour, and well-being.
The Role:
- Provide pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure students receive the best support.
- Implement and oversee behaviour management strategies.
- Support students with attendance, safeguarding, and emotional well-being.
- Uphold the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in pastoral care, behaviour support, or safeguarding in a school or youth setting.
- A commitment to supporting students’ well-being and development.
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- A background in education, social work, youth work, or a related field (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
