Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Caldicot
Pay rate: £13.75 per hour
Hours: 8.30am – 3pm.
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Part-time staff to work within a secondary school based in Caldicot. We currently are experiencing a high demand for cover in the area. The school has great transport links via the M4 and is also easily accessible vis public transport with bus and train routes available.
If you are currently a Teaching Assistant looking for some reduced hours or someone who is looking for a change in career and hoping to gain some experience this could be the perfect opportunity for you .
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Assist students with their learning, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support children with additional learning needs as required.
- Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning materials.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (preferred but not essential).
- A caring and patient approach to supporting young learners.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not required).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
