Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Bromley, UK
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Working Hours: Flexible (2-5 days per week)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner schools in the Bromley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education or those with prior experience supporting young learners.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, helping to deliver engaging lessons.

  • Work with students on a 1:1 or small-group basis, offering tailored support.

  • Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive learning habits.

  • Support children with SEN (Special Educational Needs) where required.

  • Help prepare learning materials and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

  • Supervise students during break times and off-site activities if needed.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children (in schools, tutoring, childcare, etc.).

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification, or degree in Education) are desirable but not essential.

  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
