Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Westminster, London
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Flexible (2-3 days per week, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant secondary school in Westminster. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and students, assisting in classroom activities, providing one-to-one or small group support, and helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support to teachers, ensuring smooth lesson delivery.

Assist students with learning difficulties or additional needs (SEN experience desirable).

Help with behaviour management and encourage positive engagement.
-
Support pupils in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) as needed.

Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing learning materials.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working as a TA or in an educational setting.
-
A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
-
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
