About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant secondary school in Westminster. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and students, assisting in classroom activities, providing one-to-one or small group support, and helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers, ensuring smooth lesson delivery.

• Assist students with learning difficulties or additional needs (SEN experience desirable).

• Help with behaviour management and encourage positive engagement.

• Support pupils in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) as needed.

• Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing learning materials.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a TA or in an educational setting.

• A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
