Part-Time Office Admin Assistant – Primary School
Are you an experienced administrative professional looking for a rewarding role in a friendly school environment? We are seeking a Part-Time Office Admin Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming primary school.
Role:
As an Office Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our school office. You will provide essential administrative support to staff, pupils, and parents, maintaining a warm and efficient front office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
- Welcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Assisting with pupil attendance records and school communications
- Handling general administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
- Supporting the school’s finance and admissions processes as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally in a school setting)
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of school systems such as SIMS (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
