Job Title: Part-Time History Teacher

Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time Hours

Salary: £150 - £205 per day

Summary:

We are seeking an engaging and qualified Part-Time History Teacher to join our prestigious school in the vibrant borough of Lambeth. As a member of our dynamic teaching team, you will design and deliver stimulating history lessons, assess student progress, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborating with colleagues, you will contribute to the development of our exciting history curriculum and effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging history lessons to students.
  • Evaluate and assess student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development.
  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Bachelor's degree in History or related field.

Experience:

Prior experience teaching history in a school setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the history curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience with exam boards and assessments.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours.

  • Potential for extra-curricular activities and school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
