Job description

Part-Time History Teacher

Location: England, Greater London, Lambeth

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £150 - £210 Per Day

Job Duties:

1. Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to students

2. Develop and implement curriculum to meet the educational needs of students

3. Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback

4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience

6. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Bachelor's degree in History or related field

- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting

Experience:

2 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong knowledge of history curriculum and educational best practises

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Effective classroom management and student engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education

- Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

- Part-time with Full-Time hours

- Classroom-based teaching in a secondary school setting

- Potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities

- Collaboration with colleagues and school administration

- Adherence to school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
