Job description

Part-Time Classroom Manager – Pontypridd

Teaching Personnel are seeking someone who is available for part-time classroom management and supervision in one of our close partner schools in Pontypridd.

The school are a relatively small, well-attaining school with a strong community ethos and excellent network of staff support. Levels of behaviour in the school are comparably low which is evidence of the school’s stance on learning and achievement.

Providing high-quality education to around 1000 students of the Pontypridd area, the school has parking on-site for all staff and is easily accessible by car or bus.

Daily rate of £100 – 115 per day

⏰ 08:00 – 15:00

Term-time only

The role of part-time classroom manager is perfect for anyone who has a passion for working with children, inspiring personal and academic development whilst encouraging future aspirations.

Comprehensive training is provided by Teaching Personnel to fully prepare all successful applicants for the role before having a trial shift arranged in the school.

Classroom Managers must:

• be flexible and well-organised

• be calm, confident, resilient and diplomatic

• be patient, flexible, creative and able to relate well to young people to support their learning.

• share a commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of all students.

• possess a sound educational background and strong IT and organisation skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or those considering a career in teaching.

A supportive training programme is provided.

All successful classroom managers will have to obtain an enhanced DBS, register this on the update service and be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

Fully support and guidance for each of these is provided.

All Teaching Personnel staff are provided with complimentary yet compulsory Level 2 Safeguarding training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
