1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Seaforth, Liverpool
Position: 1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant (Mornings)
Location: Seaforth, Liverpool
Hours: 8:15am – 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a real difference in a young child's life? We are seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming Primary School in Seaforth. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support to a three-year-old on a 1:1 basis each morning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual support for a child in the nursery setting.
  • Assist with the child’s learning, development, and emotional well-being.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for the child to thrive.
  • Work closely with the nursery team, SENCO, and parents to ensure a consistent approach to care and learning.
  • Encourage the child’s social, emotional, and physical development.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Is calm, patient, and nurturing.
  • Can build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Has a good understanding of child development and individual needs.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
