Salary: £83.85+ Per day

Job Duties:

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
• Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities and programmes
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Help with feeding, nappie-changes, and personal hygiene routines
• Monitor and engage in playtime and outdoor activities
• Assist in maintaining records and updating children's progress reports
• Collaborate with other staff members to plan and organise educational and recreational activities
• Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's development
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow nursery policies and procedures

Experience:

• Prior experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
• Experience in assisting with child development activities and routines

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development principles and practises
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a nursery environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children

Working Conditions:

• Work in a nursery setting with young children
• Full-time hours.
• Physical stamina to supervise and engage in active play with children
• Adherence to health and safety guidelines, including proper hygiene practises

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
