Location: York
Salary: £140 - £180 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in York. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and foster a love for music.
Role and Responsibili
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach practical and theoretical aspects of music, including composition and performance.
- Support students in developing their musical skills across various instruments and styles.
- Organise and contribute to school concerts, performances, and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Music department.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Ability to play and teach multiple instruments is an advantage.
- A passion for music and the ability to inspire students.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
