At Teaching Personnel, we are looking to recruit an Music Teacher for one of our secondary schools in Wakefield.

Ready to strike a chord and ignite a passion for music in the hearts of students? ECTs and Fully Qualified teachers with some experience teaching in the UK and a DBS on the update service, are welcome to apply.

Role Overview: As a Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to nurture students' musical talents and instill in them a lifelong appreciation for music. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cover a range of musical genres, techniques, and concepts, catering to students of all abilities and interests. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic music lessons that encompass a variety of musical styles, instruments, and technologies.
• Provide opportunities for students to engage in practical music-making activities, including ensemble performances, composition, and music production.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively and develop their musical skills.
• Incorporate a range of teaching methods and resources, including musical instruments, technology, and multimedia materials, to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
• Assess students' progress through performance evaluations, coursework assessments, and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
