Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teachers to work across several schools in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to inspire and develop students’ musical talents, fostering a love for music in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students across various key stages.

Inspire creativity and musical appreciation through practical and theoretical teaching.

Lead and support extracurricular music activities such as choirs, bands, or school performances.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
-
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
-
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, relevant degree, or experience in music education).

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach music theory and practical performance.
-
Experience with instruments and/or digital music production is desirable.
-
Enthusiasm for inspiring young musicians and encouraging participation in school music programs.
-
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
