Position: Secondary Music Teacher (Short-term and Long-term Contracts)
Location: Secondary Schools in NN2
Salary: Competitive (based on experience and contract length)
Contract: Flexible – short-term and long-term positions available
Start Date: ASAP/Ongoing

We have a Secondary school in NN2 that is now recruiting for a Part Time Teacher of Music.

About the role

As the school's teacher of Music you will join our Music department. You will be responsible for:

• Setting high expectations for all learners.

• Teaching our ambitious curriculum to our students in Years 7 to 13.

• Teaching excellent lessons for our students which are well prepared and planned.

• Assessing students' progress and adapting teaching to ensure that you are meeting the needs of all learners.

• To assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students and to keep such records as are required.

• Provide and/or contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students and groups of students taught or tutored.

• Ensure that ICT, Literacy, Numeracy and subject specialism(s) are reflected in the teaching/learning experience of students.

• Undertake a designated programme of teaching.

• To ensure a high-quality learning experience for students which meets internal and external quality standards.

• To prepare and update subject materials.

• A teacher who has a degree in Music and experience of working in a secondary school.

• Qualified Teacher Status

• Experience of raising levels of achievement and attainment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
