Music Teacher, Moss Side
Location: Moss Side, Manchester
Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale point, £31,650 to £49,084.
Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are excited to be recruiting a passionate and skilled Music Teacher for a secondary school in Moss Side, Manchester. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the art of music, delivering engaging and creative lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic early-career teacher with a strong passion for music education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Create engaging and dynamic learning environments that cater to students' diverse needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.
• Participate in school activities and contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader music curriculum.
• Encourage and support students in extracurricular music activities, including performances and rehearsals.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching music at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in music.
• Be a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who can engage and motivate students.
• Show a commitment to professional development and working as part of a team.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
