Job Advert: Full-Time Temporary Music Teacher – Leyland
Are you a passionate and inspiring music teacher ready to share your talent with students in Leyland? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our vibrant school community from September. This full-time, temporary role will give you the opportunity to teach and inspire the next generation of musicians in a supportive and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality music lessons across key stages.

Encourage and nurture students' musical skills, from beginner to advanced levels.

Organise and participate in school performances and musical events.

Work collaboratively with the music department to develop an engaging curriculum.

Provide a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
Passion for music and education with the ability to inspire students.

Experience teaching music at secondary level is desirable.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
