Music Teacher - Hornchurch, Essex

Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher looking to inspire young minds in the London Borough of Havering?

Teaching Personnel's PWR team are looking for a qualified and experienced Music Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hornchurch, Essex. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality music education to students of all abilities. You will be confident in your ability to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, and will have a strong understanding of the current curriculum.

The school is a popular and oversubscribed mixed comprehensive with a strong commitment to the performing arts. The Music department is well-resourced and has a dedicated team of specialist teachers. The school offers a supportive and welcoming environment for all staff, and provides excellent opportunities for professional development.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Have experience of teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
  • Be a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with a love of music
  • Have a strong understanding of the current Music curriculum
  • Be able to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
