Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Contract Duration: 22nd April 2025 – 22nd July 2025
Position: Full-Time

Are you a passionate and dedicated music educator looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students in a supportive and dynamic school environment? We are seeking a temporary Music Teacher to join our vibrant team in Chorley for the period from 22nd April 2025 until 22nd July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Plan and execute music curriculum content, ensuring it meets the national standards and individual student needs.
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression in students, fostering a love for music and the arts.
  • Support extracurricular activities, such as school concerts, musical performances, and clubs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Contribute to the school’s music department and wider community.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Music Teacher with experience in teaching music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong knowledge of the music curriculum and music theory.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for music education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A DBS check will be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
