Music Teacher Opportunity.
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire.
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher looking for an exciting new role? We are seeking a talented individual to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school after Easter, with the position running initially until the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in music, fostering their creativity and confidence while delivering high-quality lessons. You will be joining a school that values the arts and encourages students to develop a passion for music through both curriculum teaching and extracurricular activities.
The Role:
- Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
- Planning and assessing work in line with the national curriculum, ensuring students make excellent progress.
- Encouraging students to develop their musical skills and appreciation through practical, theoretical, and performance-based activities.
- Contributing to the wider school community, including music clubs, school performances, and extracurricular events.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Have experience teaching Music at secondary level, or be an ECT looking for a supportive environment to start their career.
- Be passionate about music and able to inspire students of all abilities.
- Be a strong classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge.
- Have a commitment to extracurricular involvement and enhancing the cultural life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
