Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher, Moss Side

Location: Moss Side, Manchester

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)

Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale point

Key Stage: KS3 & KS4

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and resilient MFL Teacher to join a secondary school in Moss Side, Manchester. This full-time, temporary position offers the potential to transition to a permanent role based on positive performance.
You will teach MFL across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students in French, Spanish, or other languages. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse, vibrant school community where you can make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging MFL lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 students.
• Tailor lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
Assessment & Feedback:
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievements and set homework tasks.
Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies.

The Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications & Experience:
• PGCE or QTS with a degree in MFL (French, Spanish, etc.).
• Experience teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and 4 level.
• Ability to work in a challenging school environment is desirable.
Skills & Attributes:
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management.
• Passionate, resilient, and able to engage students in languages.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
