Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to support students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)? Teaching Personnel is seeking an MLD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in York.

About the Role:

As an MLD Teaching Assistant, you will:
✅ Support students with MLD in both group and one-to-one settings
✅ Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
✅ Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
✅ Encourage and develop students’ confidence, communication, and independence
✅ Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly MLD
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
