Are you a patient, nurturing and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist provision in Goole to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with MLD across Key Stages 2 – 4

• Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

• Assisting with tailored learning programmes to help meet individual needs

• Encouraging engagement and building positive relationships with pupils

• Collaborating with class teachers and SENCO to ensure effective support strategies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), particularly MLD

• A calm, patient and resilient approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of individual learners

• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
