Are you a passionate and dynamic teacher of French with a flair for inspiring young minds? Our forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a talented Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team and help shape the next generation of global citizens.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will join a supportive and experienced MFL department that values creativity, collaboration, and a student-centred approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver outstanding French lessons that motivate and challenge all learners.

  • Use a range of assessment strategies to support student progress.

  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and enrichment opportunities within MFL.

  • Support the wider school community through involvement in events, trips, and extracurricular activities.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in French.

  • Has a strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective classroom strategies.

  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a growth mindset to the classroom.

  • Is committed to promoting high standards of achievement and behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
