Position: Full-Time

A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Fordingbridge is seeking a dedicated and passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their dynamic team from September onwards. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students in learning languages, fostering a love for both French, Spanish, and other modern languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality MFL lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

  • Develop engaging and innovative lesson plans that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.

  • Support students in achieving their academic potential through effective feedback and encouragement.

  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and language events.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL department and ensure a cohesive learning experience for all students.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with a passion for teaching MFL and inspiring students.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

  • Knowledge of current MFL curriculum and educational best practices.

  • A positive, energetic, and flexible approach to teaching and learning.

  • Experience in teaching French and/or Spanish (or other modern foreign languages) at secondary school level is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
