MFL Teacher – Permanent Position

Are you a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking an inspiring MFL specialist to join a well-regarded school, delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across a range of abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in French and/or Spanish.

• Inspire a love for languages by fostering a dynamic and interactive classroom environment.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support to ensure achievement.

• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices within the department.

• Encourage students to develop their language skills through cultural enrichment and extracurricular activities.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student progress.

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement in line with the school’s policies.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching French and/or Spanish at secondary level (KS3 and KS4, with KS5 desirable).

• A strong subject knowledge and passion for language teaching.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• A commitment to inclusive education and supporting students of all abilities.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
