MFL Teacher – Permanent Position
Are you a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking an inspiring MFL specialist to join a well-regarded school, delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across a range of abilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in French and/or Spanish.

Inspire a love for languages by fostering a dynamic and interactive classroom environment.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support to ensure achievement.

Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices within the department.

Encourage students to develop their language skills through cultural enrichment and extracurricular activities.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student progress.

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement in line with the school’s policies.
Person Specification:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
-
Experience teaching French and/or Spanish at secondary level (KS3 and KS4, with KS5 desirable).

A strong subject knowledge and passion for language teaching.
-
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
-
A commitment to inclusive education and supporting students of all abilities.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
