Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a co-educational secondary school located in Havant, seeking a teacher of MFL to join the department from April 2025 or sooner, required until May and potentially until July 2025.

You will be joining a vibrant secondary school that strives to be a centre of excellence within the local community by delivering an exceptional education for every pupil.   Staff are passionate about making the school an environment in which pupils can come in and enjoy their day whilst benefiting from a safe and happy learning environment as well as inspirational and challenging teaching.  The school is just a few minutes’ walk away from the nearest train station so easily accessible via public transport.

The role:

The school are seeking a specialist to join the languages department asap, required to teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4.  While a fully qualified teacher is preferred, the school will also consider subject specialists or cover supervisors with a background in MFL.  The school will consider educator’s who can plan and mark, as well as those available to cover only.

What we’re looking for:

  • Enthusiasm for delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Specialising in French and/or Spanish with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
  • Desire to help pupils successfully master an ambitious MFL curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
