Teaching Personnel are partnering with a leading SEN School in Horsham that supports primary and secondary boys with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many of the pupils have experienced trauma, PTSD, and neglect, impacting their ability to thrive in mainstream education.
We are looking for nurturing, enthusiastic, and resilient individuals who are confident in managing behaviour and supporting pupil well-being. Your ability to build trusting relationships will be essential, as many pupils find it challenging to connect with adults. The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be nurturing, patient, and passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Have the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Be able to build trust and rapport with students who may have experienced trauma
- Be confident, enthusiastic, and dedicated to pupil development
- Have a child-only DBS registered on the update service (required)

Due to the school's location, having your own transport is highly advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
