Job Title: Maths Tutor with SEN Experience
Location:

Temporary, Part-Time hours
Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored maths tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Conduct assessments to monitor progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to engage and support students with SEN
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant qualification
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for maths
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching maths, preferably with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and how to accommodate them
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience using assistive technologies to support learning
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, with flexibility to accommodate students' schedules
- Work may involve travel to different educational settings within the Wokingham area
- Collaboration with other education professionals and parents/guardians

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
